Behavioral Health Carve-Out
HBI offers full and partial risk capitated mental health and substance abuse coverage. HBI will assume all costs across the entire continuum of care.
Flexible Benefit Plan
All clients have their own unique population and value system. Flexibility is imperative to help clients develop a specific program tailored to their own needs. Programs may be tailored according to plan design, specific intake and utilization procedures, customer service features, as well as other aspects. HBI provides services under fully insured, shared-risk, and ASO arrangements. We provide your organization with the freedom to match clinical services to your corporate philosophy and to the degree of financial risk you choose to control.
Claims Processing & Adjudication
HBI provides expedited automated claims processing assuring rapid and accurate payment. We provide full claims processing or claims processing via a third party administrator. HBI regularly meets or exceeds industry standards for claims timeliness and accuracy.
Preferred Provider Network
HBI's network is comprised of multidisciplinary providers who undergo a rigorous credentialing and recredentialing process. In addition, we offer multi-lingual providers and translators. HBI's providers deliver services at a discounted fee, thus passing the savings to members and related industries.
Utilization Management (UM)
HBI provides management of treatment from initial point of entry to discharge. We are available 24/7 through both local and toll-free telephone numbers. Assessments and referrals into treatment are made by highly qualified licensed clinicians with multiple years of clinical experience. Utilization Management encompasses prior authorization, concurrent and retrospective review, discharge planning, continuity of care, and follow-up.
HBI targets high-risk cases for more intensive services utilizing a wrap-around system that includes community, private, and medical resources. Our system addresses the needs of special populations, in particular children and adolescents who may require a higher level of care.
Quality Management (QM)
HBI has a thoroughly developed, broad, and measurable quality management program for identification and resolution of problem areas. Our QM program is designed to improve clinical and administrative services. We continually monitor our organization and our network providers in order to help improve overall services (i.e., access to care, member/provider satisfaction and complaints, grievance issues, etc.).
HBI’s customized reports provide checks and balances to clinical and administrative services. These reports provide your organization with summary information regarding your population's utilization of services, trends, costs, and profiles, as well as a comparative index to other groups.
